Yo! is made by people with a passion for English communication and was created for everyone who
wants to achieve, improve, and maintain fluency in a
simple and effective way: by talking.
we know very well what it's like to learn English in Brazil. believe us, we've been through it. it's a rollercoaster of obligations, failed attempts, and dead ends. it's a lot of “blah blah blah”! Yo! was born out of our own frustrations in search of a way to practice what we spent hundreds, thousands of hours studying, hoping to achieve the most important thing: speaking English well.
what we learned along the way was painfully obvious: to communicate well in English, you need *sigh*… to speak English! with other people, naturally, the more you do it, the better. this isn't just a simple, effortless, and exciting way to practice, but also one of the best ways to truly learn a new language.
after all, the main reason why we all want to learn English, or any other language, is the desire to communicate, express ourselves, and be able to connect with others. with English, we can use these superpowers with people from all over the globe, no matter how, where, or from where. that's why Yo! exists - to connect more Brazilians with the world.

The illustrations above pay homage to Bora, Thiago’s female pit bull buddy, and Calvin, Ramon’s French bulldog buddy. These two beloved intrepid canine heroes, driven by an insatiable thirst for adventure, set off on a cosmic escapade because Earth’s quests were not exciting enough for them. And let’s not forget — they only didn’t speak English because you know… dogs don’t speak!
